Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA)

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America is the nation’s premiere trade association of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration contractors. With 68 state and local chapters across the country, ACCA’s member network of more than 9000 contractors nationwide also includes manufacturers of HVACR equipment, wholesalers and distributors, vocational and technical schools, facilities operators and others.

ACCA QA Certified

The ACCA Quality Assured (QA) program is a self-certification activity for professional HVAC contracting businesses. QA participants attest that they satisfy the requirements for the EPA ENERGY STAR Qualified New Homes Program (Version 3). The QA Program relies upon three elements to promote quality HVAC installations:

QA Participants attest that they have implemented written policies and procedures as identified in the ACCA 5 QI Standard to effect quality on a consistent basis in the field.
QA Participants complete and submit a detailed HVAC system installation checklist.
Qualified 3rd party Raters validate specific elements of the installation for compliance to the EnergyStar requirements.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 70 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors.

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)

The National Federation of Independent Business is the leading advocacy organization representing small and independent businesses. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals.

Lee Building Industry Association (BIA)

The Lee Building Industry Association (BIA), a not-for-profit professional Association representing Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties, is a powerful voice for the building industry in the regulatory arena. The BIA serves its members and advances the building profession through a community of knowledge sharing and education.

North American Technician Excellence, Inc. (NATE)

Nate-Certified Technicians on Staff

North American Technician Excellence, Inc. (NATE) in the leading certification program for technicians in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry and is the only test supported by the entire industry.

Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA)

Collier Building Industry Association is an organization of dedicated industry professionals who are inspired to make a real difference in our community through advocacy, education, networking and philanthropy.

The Gulf Coast Builders Exchange (GCBX)

The Gulf Coast Builders Exchange represents a broad cross section of the building industry, including contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and others from affiliated industries. GCBX’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the building industry are conducted in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Wholly owned by the membership, the Builders Exchange is a not-for-profit corporation operating as a trade organization under the guidance of a volunteer board of directors as representatives of the industry.

West Florida Chapter of Community Associations Institute

The West Florida Chapter of Community Associations Institute serves the educational, business, and networking needs of community associations in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties of Southwest Florida. Members include condominium, cooperative, and homeowner associations as well as those who provide services and products to associations. The West Florida Chapter has over 650 members. The chapter is one of 59 Community Associations Institute chapters in the nation.

Home Builders Association Manatee-Sarasota

The Home Builders Association Manatee-Sarasota is a professional trade organization comprised of local builders and associated businesses involved in the homebuilding industry. The association is affiliated with both the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance

The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance is committed to serve, develop and unify the businesses of the community through a powerful partnership with the local businesses, service, and community organizations along with the collaboration of city and governmental institutions. The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance is dedicated to providing leadership, resources and business development for fostering and advocating the businesses of the Lakewood Ranch community. Conditioned Air is proud to serve on the Government Board.

Building Managers International (BMI)

Building Managers International is an organization of Community Association Managers dedicated to improving the education and professionalism of licensed Community Association Managers in the State of Florida. BMI is the only statewide organization created and operated by and for the benefit of Florida Managers. The National Board of Directors and the Boards of each local chapter are made up of managers and associates working together.
